The University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill and UNC Hospitals opened the University Child Care Center
in August, 1998, and contracted Victory Village Day Care Center
to manage the facility. The center is located near the William
and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education, three miles east
of the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.
The 10,500 square foot facility can accommodate 120 children.
The center operates eleven classrooms, each designed to support
age appropriate care and activities. The center also has a large
multi-purpose room and an on-site kitchen. Outdoor play areas
allow children to develop their large motor skills on a variety
of equipment.
